Johnny, post up the break down of how much each quintile makes. I think it's going to be had claiming that the 4th quintile is "the rich" unless you think someone making roughly $60k a year is rich. If you want to make a claim that roughly half of all income tax collected is from the rich, then MAYBE I can get behind that.

What are you talking about? People that make $60k aren't rich by anyone's standards. According to you, the rich are people that make over $25k a year. Get some data on how much the people make in each quintile. Then restate the fact that 95% of income tax is paid by the wealthy.
thats why they were included. even if you go by reasonable standards its about 60-70% income tax paid by people who make over 100k a year. |
