Default Importing another car from another state?

Hey guys, anyone here ever import a car from another state to where they live? Tell me more about that? Smog Regulation? Fees? Taxes? ETC?

Smog Regulation: Just has to pass within YOUR state's emission requirements.

Fees: Registration, license, etc in your state only.

Taxes: ONLY if you live in the state you bought it. But some states do charge you an "inventory fee" (Texas) which is a small percentage of your purchase price.

ETC: Dealer documentation charges, usually about $100. Shipping charges are generally $500 average but depends on how far your shipping it.

depends on where you are , here in Washington, I had to go to the State police so they can match numbers. It was my CRX that I bought in Kentucky.
