Tennessee. I dont expect to find it rust free, but I looked at one the other day and the frame was rotted so bad that when I touched the sway bar it fell off. :l
I really just want a "decent shell". I dont mind replacing floor boards and fenders, but having to replace all the frame rails and 99% of components is too much for me. I have been using crazedlist,(it searches all the craigslist you select) and have found a couple, Im just being patient and looking for the right one. |

Talk to John Phillips in Bristol, he's all over that hybridz board and good people to boot. He's got a couple of V8 swapped Z's, the "small tire" slower of the two cars runs a slow high 8 second pass.

You want to spend only a grand?
Get an E30 BMW, swap in the SR and call it a day. A local here has about $1700 in his swap. The thing will crack off low / mid 12's |

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TXTGMOzLBC0 The smokescreen at the end is what happens when you shove 30 psi plus nitrous through an engine with no crankcase breather. John won by a fender - if you look closely his car never even lifted a front tire or even twisted upon launch, and he beat a Honda at it's own game: the flying tin can from a roll. Anything that pulls on that CRX on the back half of the 1/4 is NASTY. |
