wow, this turned into a religion battle real quick. can't we all just go to hell like this thread originally intended us to do? I personally don't believe in any of your god and jesus and hell and the devil bullshit, it's all unproven and you have no more evidence for your statements then I have for mine so everybody should just believe what they want and stop putting pamphlets on my windshield that say I'm going to hell if I'm not born again.
Just to cover my *** so I don't have to come back to this thread again to clarify: The bible is not evidence of anything, I can write a book, so can anyone else. We have no proof of anything religious so I choose to believe it doesn't exist.

oh I'll read it if I want to read it. ok, this religion discussion makes me feel inadequate since I can't convince everyone to believe my side, and you can't convince everyone to believe your side. Any talks about religion just frustrate me and make me want to punch people. Let's just be friends?

Ok, I read all the crap in this post and I have one thing to ask.
All of this talk about "HIM" and "the creator" and "GOD" is invalid if you don't believe in any superior creator. How can you believe in a creator? What makes you believe that we were all created by this one person so many years ago that was so great and nobody has even came close to being as great as him? If it weren't for "the book" (the bible)you wouldn't know what to think or believe so anything that was written in that "book" you would believe is the truth. They could have wrote some horse ---- story about the earth being flat and you would have eaten it up because that was written. How can you believe all of these things you read in this "book"?
I loved all of Dr.Seus's books, but the man is crazy and full of ----. I'm not going to live my life off of what he wrote on a piece of paper just because he had a large following and made a big impact on peoples lives.
I'm in the middle of the road. I can't completely rule out the possibility of a "GOD", but I can't be completely sure there is, or was, or whatever. I don't know what to believe. It's all too crazy to think about. I don't go to church and I probably never will for the rest of my life. I live my life to the high standards I have set for myself and I feel that I'm a good person. I shouldn't have to devote my life to anything. That would be a waist of a life. That's like taking a dump and spending the rest of your life worshiping the turd that came out of your ***. To me, that would be completely pointless.
I hope this doesn't offend anyone because that was not my intention. This is just my opinion and my thoughts on the subject. Like I said, I'm in the middle of the road.
