Painted my Ef right in my driveway about 2 years ago. The hood blew open on the highway and smashed up my front end so thats why I re painted it. I want to give it a respray because when I wetsanded the paint, I didn't have a fine enough grit sandpaper, so it's not as shiney as I wanted it to be, but it's good enough until this springtime. It's lasted this long, lol

my friend just recently repainted his car... and he will tell u that it is not as easy as it seems. he might post up on here and let you know. anyway good luck, and buy enough paint to paint it again, cuz you are gonna have to.

as long as you build yourself a decent paintbooth, have larger size air compressor (you need a big one, not no ----- ----) a air dryer and filter, and a decent gun, all the rest is in the technique. you gotta be gangsta in your prep work aswell.

Re:I want to see some homemadepaintjobs
I've definatly been thinking about painting my own car. I've been spraying/masking interior/exterior houses for a long time. I know it's slightly different, but I think that will give me enough confidence to get it done.
Here's a pretty in depth write-up that I found a while back:

The only things that I am going to have to research a little more is the mixing techniques, which brand will be best, and the psi vs flow ideal for the gun. Other than that I think I'll be ok.
