i was thinking bout the cat
i didn't notice it in his pic
My pipe came off the turbo and went straight to the ground
if he still has his cat then i guess it wasn't doing any harm

I have never had a cat with my b16, the header was too short to reach the cat, so I cut the flanges off the cat and made a pipe that reached.

You don't even need a cutout to do that, external wastegate with dump tube will do the trick :)
