Default I got off work early today.....so I bought a new car.

Yeah, it's about ------- time. I finally found myself a shitbox to boost the hell out of. I still had to drive out of town, but it wasn't far. It was listed in the white sheet for $1250 and I went up there to offer him $1000, but by the time I got there he had "1000" written on the windshield. This guy has the worst social skills I have ever experienced and it doesn't help that he doesn't speak english. I don't know how this guy sells cars, but whatever.

Here she is....

Hell yeah, it's an Sir!!! What a fantastic job the factory did placing this decal.

Yeah, it's an ugly mother ******, but I don't care. I might just throw some MATCHING rims on it and leave it how it is. The motor is my main concern. I'll have this bitch boosted in no time.

I would have rather had this one, but it sold.

I have a few questions also.

When you buy a car from a dealer with cash, do you have to pay tax on top of the asking price or is it just the asking price? I have never paid cash for a car at a dealership so I don't know how that works. This guy is sketchy as hell and I don't trust him. I don't think he is a legal citizen of the United States.

Don't they have to have tires with at least 50% tread on them? These ******* are bald as hell and I'm not sure if highway driving is safe with them.

they can sell the car 'as is' with bald *** tires. If you pay in cash you still have to pay the tax and ----. If he's shady he could list that he only sold the car for $100 and keep the extra

Who do I pay the tax to, the DMV or him? For example, the car is sold for $1000+tax to him so I have to give him $1000+tax or do I just give him $1000 and that's it? I would pay the tax at the DMV?

you want to pay as little as possible. When you sign the title over the notary will add tax and all unless he's a notary.

I don't think this clown is legally able to be a notary. What I mean is, his asking price is $1000. Do I just give him $1000 and no tax or any other bullshit and drive it away?

swap in a d16a1
I think I'll throw one of my Z6's in it and see what happens. I might boost this thing until it blows. I wonder how much boost it can handle?
