I got off work early today.....so I bought a new car.
Yeah, it's about ------- time. I finally found myself a shitbox to boost the hell out of. I still had to drive out of town, but it wasn't far. It was listed in the white sheet for $1250 and I went up there to offer him $1000, but by the time I got there he had "1000" written on the windshield. ;D This guy has the worst social skills I have ever experienced and it doesn't help that he doesn't speak english. ::) I don't know how this guy sells cars, but whatever.

I have a few questions also.
When you buy a car from a dealer with cash, do you have to pay tax on top of the asking price or is it just the asking price? I have never paid cash for a car at a dealership so I don't know how that works. This guy is sketchy as hell and I don't trust him. I don't think he is a legal citizen of the United States. Don't they have to have tires with at least 50% tread on them? they can sell the car 'as is' with bald ass tires. If you pay in cash you still have to pay the tax and ----. If he's shady he could list that he only sold the car for $100 and keep the extra

you want to pay as little as possible. When you sign the title over the notary will add tax and all unless he's a notary.
