1957 Corvette
First year that fuel injection and a four speed manual transmission are offered.
1957 Corvette was last year for single head lights.
1957 was first year for the 383 ci engine.
I thought he was full of ----. :1 I would imagine that fuel injection setup is about as technical as a fart. :l

Get the LS1. Trust me their god touched motor's. Get a nice clutch, proper feul system, and a healthy ------ shot of nitrous..I personally know stock motor LS1's in the 11's easy..my wifeys 01 SS would be deep in the 11's if it would go past the 60ft mark without blowing the rear :S

Plus that ones a hugger orange car..get it.

stock LS1's go in the eleven :-\

if that the case ---- buying a LS2 or LS7... the LS1's stock is faster :l

I think he's saying a stock motor with boost or notrous. A guy local to me who is a member here had one that ran high 10's(I'm pretty sure?)on a stock motor with less than 10psi. :S

On the bottle.

----..even my cousin stock SS mid ship 12's with just suspension, sticky tires and a beefier rear end.

The rear ends the weakest link on LS1 cars..dont run slicks on the stock rears...trust me :P

noone gives a ----.

I would keep the stang. 7k will make it hella fast, and probably still have some $ sitting around for crank and hookers

Re: I follow in Johnny's footsteps

no doubt about it if your going to put that much money in the stang its going to be faster than buying the stock ls1. your going to have to put more money on the z24 to make it fast than you would if you just built the GT.
