The gas prices are all relative to the oil futures prices. It's going to take some time to get the futures prices back to the $150/barrel range when they are dipping below $50 these days.

here in texas its all around 1.50 a gallon and im damn glad cause that 4 dollar ---- sucked , i just hope it stays this way for a while at lest through summer

Was 1.49 here, jumped to 1.75 for the holiday, back to 1.56

the price of gas has nothing to do with cars.
it has everything to do with all the transportation needs for goods. no one is driving any more or any less. companies are just moving less goods. if everyone drove metros we'd still use nearly as much gas |
