guys, you cant use a heater core as a intercooler, we use those in the rerigeration systems at work...

nice try tho... id rather use a dsm sidemount than that thing.

The ignorance in this thread is strong

Listen to what everyone is saying. It absolutely CANNOT be used to cool air, in fact you would be better off pissing on your stock pipes, than attempting to use that heap of ----.

now that everyones saying no. id like to see what it could accualy do if you attempted to use it

hell computer heat sinks are going to ---- that looks like

that using heat pipes opposed to using an all alumnium fin heat sink. maybe it would work. but ----. since everyones saying no try it anyway. test the capability to cool charge air. with that vs a normal tube and fin intercooler.

I dont know if I wanna test it, lol if I do I'll get flamed, I dont see why air wouldnt move through it fast enough though, but I think i'm just going to stick with a Probe intercooler for now untill I can get something better, but ---- it really, I'm getting a better job soon and am going to maybe buy another LS motor and build an LS VTEC with ITB's, i've always wanted to build one is these, i'm not going to put more money in to this car anymore since next summer i'm getting an EK civic hatch.

heat pipe only works because they have a special liquid and a crystal inside the pipe that evaporates and cycles back ndown to exchange heat. this thing will not work as an intercooler, but it would work hella great as an air to water intercooler or an oilcooler infact.

What is so comical about my statement? :P I was being serious, I might as well make several oil coolers out of it rather than throw it away..
