How do you like the Clutch
 

Hey guys, as you all know LSD Motorsports has the stickied post on the for sale forum for clutches and turbo products. We made this post in order to get feedback from anyone and everyone whos purchased a legal speed designs clutch kit. Just a few simple words about the transaction and the clutch would be much appreciated by us and any future buyers.
This will be in our signature for anyone asking for vouches.

Transaction went great. I didn't exactly know what I was looking for in an upgraded clutch but Mike helped me select the right one. I've been running it now for a month or so and I love it. Definately worth the price I paid.

Wasn't sure if I'd have to spend the $1,000,000 price tag of an ACT or Clutchmasters clutch, but after seeing the power Mikes clutches hold (first hand) vs. the cost of the others, I wouldn't have even given the other ones a chance. Quality vs. Price, there isn't a better balance than this one. Thanks Mike.

I luv my clutch....thanks mike ;D .
Have it in there for about 2 month's now and boosting for 3 weeks or so....it's holding really good...I don't even think about it when I'm ripping through the gears.
And those clutches are durable....I can vouch for that.
I had a few mishaps with my tranny....a flywheel bolt came loose which I overtorqued....it hit the pressure plate but just the top superficial damage.
The clutch still works great and for that price...damnnn i'm so happy. I'm tight on money and Mike came just in time...when I was looking for a clutch. Was God send :D

sup fellas...
i got my clutch (6 puck sprung) but i havn't tested it yet. i'm still waiting on machine work and parts to arrive... clutch plate looked flawless, pp looked good w/ superficial scratches... also got a flywheel from him also... i definitally liked the price on the pkg deal!!! but Mike, where was my bearings and alignment tool???? don't worry, i bought them allready! ... can't wait to try out this product!!! it better hold my 300 hp CRX or YOU'RE DEAD!!! j/p.....

ive had mine in for 2600 miles(6puck unsprung)... drives good. i do recomend that first initial hard break in though... my clutch felt soo much better after, bites just as hard but eliminated any chatter.

I bought the 6 puck unsprung clutch for my car. I wanted something strong and could handle more than i was going to push everyday for a reasonable price. This was def. the best option for me. I got a clutch that can hold 300ft lbs of tq and it was right in my price range. Everything went smoothly and Mike is always available via PM or IM or email. Good guy and i would suggest buying one of his clutches.

even though i didnt buy one from you ive always had a clutch specialties 6 pucks. best bang for the buck and plus i got a good deal on it. my cuzzin knows brian i think thats his name hahaha.

As someone else posted, I was boggled at the price of ACT or Clutchmaster offerings... this clutch was the make/break of my project for a long time since I had no clutch selected. Putting a clutch worth more than my car (almost) wasnt appealing.

I have one of the D series 6 puck unsprungs. I have about 600 miles on it now (boosted) and this thing clamps down REALLY hard shift after shift. A guy who rode in my car even commented on how well it held the power. The price is hard to beat, and the service was good.

I bought one through the GB. Although I've yet to put it on (lazy me), it looks like a quality product. Mike's service was also top notch!

yeah these clutches are awsome no matter how i drive it this thing just grabs. If youre debating on whether or not to get just get it well worth it. I have seen their facility too very professional, they had a full iron disc for a twin t 300zx just chillin there, they know wat theyre doing

i ordered my clutch from mike, and it got damaged on the way (damn fedex, there usually good 2 :-\). hes get the best customer service i think ive delt with ever. quick and thorough responses, and we dealt with the fedex claim quickly as well. Thanks alot man!... ill post back up once i get it on and tell u how great it is :)

Raffi got his clutch boost, im not sure when hes putting it in, steve has one in their now and drew should shortly as well. Julio bustamante has one as well. How about a "vouches" sticky in the classifieds. THat way people can post how transactions went down, and if you wanna see if anyone has vouches on the forum just do a quick "find on page" search to see...

My clutch I got from you grabs like a mother fucker but chatters bad out of the hole if you aren't into it. Seems like a lot of chatter for a sprung clutch with a new flywheel but oh well. I don't care because I don't Sally it out of the hole much. It never slips and your shipping time to me was great! Thumbs up!

the only thing i dont like is the the chatter when going slow, plus i ordered a sprung one and got an unsprung one. it holds well though and good price and fsat shipping

I measured the amount of material there is on the disk, there is less then 1mm (like .8) of friction material down to the rivets :-\ I hope it lasts longer then one summer
