just dont remove the glass.. mask it with some masking tape and newspaper or whatever.. paint it.. then take a razor blade and clean it.. its that ------- simple.

Also if its going to be a show car, dont paint it yourself.. If its going to a shop, I hope they are capable of taking them out theirselves if thats what you ask them to do. If not i suggest a new shop...

Yeah there was no answer that I heard was correct. You can't heat up the urathane. You have to cut it out. You can go down to the body shop and get the tool for it but it won't be long enough so you will have to use a knife or the best way is to pay to have it done. Because most likely you will break the window. Thats why window shops charge $75 an hour. But that shouldn't take them that long. And yeah if you want a show car have everyone else do everything for you. You might win something.

its more show and go. as for someone doing it for me it would cost to much i rather learn all i can. o i am not planing to win anything. i want it to be the way i want it not what someone else wants.
i want to take it out so i dont have to pay someone the BIG BUCKS.
i am not going to paint the shop is they said if i do all the prepwork like sand and remove any moldings glass, ect. that the cost would be $1168 if they have to doo all the work its $ 3221. tell me which would u want to pay.

just by buy and building my turbo LS vtec i got $4000 in to it.
i am hopeing to hit 400 hp wont know till all the body work is done.

Take the black trim piece out from around the window and you're good. There's no need to pull out the window, because after you pull that trim piece there's gonna be a ton of room to paint back there and when you put the trim back in (or buy a new one) you'll never see it, even if you tried to lift up the edge of the trim and look, you still wouldn't see it.

Coupes have different windows than hatches. The seal is actually part of the window.

All you need is a hot knife to remove it. Its a special air tool made for glass removal on autos. If you're anywhere near zip 19335 you can come by my shop and use mine.

Don't know about the 94's but my 97 coupe had a black trim piece that I removed before painting it, and put back in after the paint job
