why not just put some cardboard around it or some ----...the salt thing is for blocks so you can have the devcon sit up off the bottom

well cuz if you were worried about appearence you could just wash the salt off. right? isn't the salt in blocks so it can be flushed out?

can you just fill your mounts with just the polyurathane sealant. or is it not as stable without the polyurthane mount inserts too? because i was just planning on filling up my mounts with a type of polyurthane or what this guy is thinkin devacon

appearance means ---- to me, yea i was thinking using something like devcon, and i already have poly mounts but i'm looking for something a lil stiffer... they still flex a lil more than i'd like

I don't know I have Arizona Racing poly mounts and they are stiff everything in the car rattles i couldn't image solid mountss, you need a little flex or you are going to have some problems as someone stated before

Saleslmonkey you don't need the insert to fill the mount just put some duct tape on one side fill thmount with the widow weld or whaever you are using and then push it down with a piec of cardboard and let it dry

word, i think gator was blaming some solid metal suspension bushings for the reason he broke 2 or 3 sets of axles.

if poly isn't stiff enough for you, you must not have very good mounts.
