These are by far the best ones I've ever used.
I've rented the simple ones like some of the ones you posted from Autozone. And the little claw things from those are too fat to fit in the gap in the spring.

i use the corner of my garage to brace the spring and a welding hat to protect my face. only problem with that is loosing the nut after it hits you in the arm. oh and your arm hurts for a few days.

Thats how we did my friends, ---- was wild!
Then we tied the spring to his tree and that ---- was a bad idea.
