Well ---- im down to 1 snake (the albino burmese) becuase the regular burm carried some desease and killed the rest. So now i have 3 dogs (1 Rott, 1 German shepard, 1 kick me dog), 1 snake, 2 cats, iguana, sulcata tortoise, 2 firebelly toads (Gave them away, but they ended up back at my house), 2 Red Ear Sliders. My salt water tank has grown alot too. 1 clownfish, 1 lawnmower blenny, 1 6 line wrasse, 1 coral banded shrimp (****** ate a $20 fish yesterday, it was a bangaii cardinal), 1 peppermint shrimp, 1 chocolate starfish, and 5 Hermit crabs. I totalled up the money i have put into this tank yesterday and it was just north of $800 in 4 the 4 months i have had it. Now i know why im always so damn broke. I also have a tank with 3 oscars, 2 albino clawed frogs and an algae eater. And yet another tank with like 35 goldfish in it (feeders for the frogs). Damn too many animals.

This is the newest member of the family. She is the mom of the pit mix puppies I was fostering. I have no clue what kind of dog she is.

How old is he?? Mine is about 3-4 months (vet said 3 months last week, but she looked older than a month when I got her and I know I've had her for 2 months since then) and weighs only 30lbs.

I plan on getting her to do some weight pulling and those backpack ***** you can get to load with weight, but have read you should wait until they're around a year old.

She is around two years old. We don't know exactly because she is a pound puppy. You could probably get her started just by getting her used to having a harness on and pulling light things around. I wouldn't put any serious weight on her just yet. Check out this article http://www.pulldoggies.com/weight_pull_training.htm

Cool cool, yeah your puppy just looked small in that picture for some reason, so I thought it was under a year old, and I've always read to wait a year. She already has some good pull on her. On a raw diet and weight pull she should build up pretty well.

Nice lookin dog.

I think there are a lot of other things out there that do more harm to society than blazing up a joint or owning a pit bull. I bet that things that we as a society tolerate, such as child molestation (there are a hundred other things we could rattle off), does more damage than smoking weed, or owning a certaint breed of dog. Why don't we eliminate the child molester, school shooter, or serial killer breed the media has people's heads soo spun they can't even think for themselves.
I know this is old, but just to clear it up.

I was being sarcastic because:
a. marijuana isn't dangerous used responsibly
b. pit bulls aren't dangerous raised properly

If you believe marijuana is dangerous, you're a bit wrong. Other than the common sense dangers of inhaling smoke, it's harmless. No, I'm not a pothead, I smoke once a week tops, haven't smoked in 2 or 3 weeks, and probably won't for another good while.

Just like with pitbulls, people hear the media BS and believe every bit of it, regardless of how full of crap it is. Your drug info "source" from the government is not a good source. Read ones from colleges and universities, people that aren't as biased as the government. The government has been known to pay specific scientists to "research" the dangers of drugs, and oddly the government studies frequently go against other medical studies. Same applies for MDMA, pot, mushrooms, lsd, etc. None of them have been found to be harmful or addictive, yet they are placed in the highest schedule drug class...which is reserved for drugs with no medical value, high abuse potential, etc. Mushrooms have been shown to be extremely effective for people with cluster headaches, mdma was originally studied for use for treating marital problems, depression and anxiety, pot has already been shown useful as a pain reliever and appetite booster...which is why half the states have allowed medical marijuana.

Everyone has their own agenda.

Media - use scare tactics and the word "pit bull" to increase their amount of viewers
Government - pay for "studies" to discredit safe drugs so they can prohibit them

Anywho, pm me back about those collars :P

anything can be dangerous in the hands of an idiot, even a spoon

but to punish a whole breed of dogs because of those idiots is retarded

i've owned 4 pits, 2 labs, and poodles. all have been awsome, friendly, affectionate, and barely even know what there teeth are for besides eating

its all in the enviroment a dog is raised in, i met a poodle that bit through my damn toe. how ------- crazy is that?

here are my two most recent dogs, friendliest dogs ever

How old is your black puppy (an APBT?)?

When I got mine she was about that size, the owners said 2 months, and I had it 2 months since then, and vet tells me she estimates it's 3 months instead of 4...

Cool. So 2 months sounds about right then. She's 4 months 30lbs right now, dunno if she's from any special line, but not a mix, got her from some people who weren't allowed to keep it because their apartment banned bully breeds, and they had just bought it
