So I go into work today to help out because my apprentice is away at school and we are busyier then ----. So I do a quick forestry truck service then I bring the next one in(get the ---- jobs out of the way) and it sat outside last night so I let it warm up a little on my hoist in nutral and I'm talking to my aprentice for about 5 minutes(who came back form school for his grandmothers funeral) and the truck starts rolling at me so I push on the hood to hold it and it just keeps coming, I think to myself ------ bitch is really rolling hard ??? then it drives off the front of my 4 post so it drops about 12inchs but before it hits the ground it pins me into the work bench (3/4 inch plywood) then I think this truck is really ------ heavy. It crushed my chest with the hood and after about 20 seconds I started to faint cuz I had zero air/lots of pain and the bumper was crushing my legs.(folded me backwords over the plywood) The bench is against the wall and in my lower back, Mike jumped in the truck and tryed to back up luckely in the panic he got reverse and not drive since it was in nutral and spun the tires then got her in for wheel drive and got her off me. Thank good it was a 4x4 and a auto! I felt the blood go back to my legs and I fell on the ground (didn't move for about 1/2 hour) First thing I asked was hows the truck then asked how the ---- it got in drive, he said it wasn't ??? I knew right away that nothing was broken and I knew I had no internal damage because my belly smashed out the head light and grill so it had room and the bench was JUST below my spine like barley on my hips. I went home for a few hours then my wife made me go to the hospital because my legs were so cold she got scared. Guess what no broken bones and no torn anything all muscle damage..........cool. If I go down the haulway to take a piss it hurts so bad my body will shake like a tweeker for a good half and hour after and I feel sick to my stomach. I dont look to lucky if you were to watch me try to move but I feel real lucky.

all that ---- is payed for by my medical, I even have extended benifits through work. He said he doesn't want me to bother with workers comp that he would just pay me strait up so his premiums dont go up. Its not a rinky dinky shop we have about 20 employies and he runs ---- on the up and up. :)

Seriously though man, glad your ok, hope your not in pain for too long. If it makes you feel any better, I have had one of those aircast boots on my left leg for about 10 days now. I tripped over the ------- jack handle while carrying a tire/wheel and tried to keep from smashing into another car that was in the shop. Doc says I probably drove my foot into the ground and bent the toes back damaging the ligaments or some ----. I don't think it compares to having Christine the truck try to kill you, but it just adds to my ever growing list of illnesses and problems :3 Get well soon ------ :6

lol, that ---- right there made it all worth it ;D I wont be down too long I really plan on being back to work sometime this week. I cant stand sitting around, I'll work in pain but this is a little too much right now. Sorry about that ankel little guy, that torn pulled ligiment ---- can ---- a guy up for a while, they heal slowley :-\ never seen a blow up doll cast before though, pics? :P

Yea, I know that soft tissue damage heals much slower than bone damage (torn cartilage in both rists...never healed) I was actually hoping it was broke so that I knew I would be better in a short time, but things can never be that simple for me :3 This is what the boot looks like that I have on. It's retarded, but it helps and you can hardly notice it if I have pants on.

thats the thing I've worked on this hoist for 12 years I know this ------- thing better then I know myself, I have had lots of cars roll a little because its a alighnmnet hoist so its not perfectly flat and depending on the wheel base it might be on a very small ridge. This truck was not rolling it was driving foward, it basically had to go up hill with me pushing against it. I didn't have time to move there is very little room and had I tryed it would have got me sideways and I think that it would have been 100X's worse.

doctor just phoned because my blood test came back and it showing major muscle damage but my leg fells a little better back my back hurts more. :-\

dont go back to work till your 100% or near to that, you cold make the injury worse. i know being off sucks but sometimes its best. plus youe employer is paying for your medical and wages, so there's no reason to risk it. the first week sucks but after that it goes by quick. i was just off for a month because of an electrical flash burn on both hands. 480volts arcing is ------- hot!

When I worked construction adn took a fall, the doctor said that I had some muscle damage and needed to give it time to heal. I gave it a day or maybe a half a day and worked through it. Now I have some weird lump in my leg that doc said is where the muscle calscified (sp?) I think that's what he said, basically like a type of scar tissue or something that is in the muscle and won't really ever go away. He said it will give me a nice limp when I'm older but it doesn't really bother me now. Dude was pretty pissed though, I could see him write the mental note for the 'told you so' he could use 25yrs from now.

So how are you feeling/healing man?? Hope ya got some decent pain killers. I went to the doc's myself today, told me that this injury will take 6-8 weeks to heal and that I will need to wear that damn boot for at least 3 more weeks, maybe more. I am kinda like you......you say you want to go back to work even though you know you shouldn't and I don't know if I can wear the aircast for another 3-4 weeks, even though I know I probably should. ----, they need to make some kind of JB Weld for humans :y

Ya buddy I want to go to work but I just can't I can barley walk, bend over, sit ect. I have some viciden(sp) but I have only taken a couple. I dont like taking ---- anymore since my bodybuilding(retarded) days. I'm really fucked up right now, more then I thought at first. :-\

I think you should tell the wife that the doctor said orgasm's are good for your back muscles and will ease the back pain. BUT since your in too much pain to have sex, then oral is the best way to gain "relief". Maybe this will help make your down time more bareable :6
