So I go into work today to help out because my apprentice is away at school and we are busyier then ----. So I do a quick forestry truck service then I bring the next one in(get the ---- jobs out of the way) and it sat outside last night so I let it warm up a little on my hoist in nutral and I'm talking to my aprentice for about 5 minutes(who came back form school for his grandmothers funeral) and the truck starts rolling at me so I push on the hood to hold it and it just keeps coming, I think to myself ------ bitch is really rolling hard then it drives off the front of my 4 post so it drops about 12inchs but before it hits the ground it pins me into the work bench (3/4 inch plywood) then I think this truck is really ------ heavy. It crushed my chest with the hood and after about 20 seconds I started to faint cuz I had zero air/lots of pain and the bumper was crushing my legs.(folded me backwords over the plywood) The bench is against the wall and in my lower back, Mike jumped in the truck and tryed to back up luckely in the panic he got reverse and not drive since it was in nutral and spun the tires then got her in for wheel drive and got her off me. Thank good it was a 4x4 and a auto! I felt the blood go back to my legs and I fell on the ground (didn't move for about 1/2 hour) First thing I asked was hows the truck then asked how the ---- it got in drive, he said it wasn't I knew right away that nothing was broken and I knew I had no internal damage because my belly smashed out the head light and grill so it had room and the bench was JUST below my spine like barley on my hips. I went home for a few hours then my wife made me go to the hospital because my legs were so cold she got scared. Guess what no broken bones and no torn anything all muscle damage..........cool. If I go down the haulway to take a **** it hurts so bad my body will shake like a tweeker for a good half and hour after and I feel sick to my stomach. I dont look to lucky if you were to watch me try to move but I feel real lucky.

all that ---- is payed for by my medical, I even have extended benifits through work. He said he doesn't want me to bother with workers comp that he would just pay me strait up so his premiums dont go up. Its not a rinky dinky shop we have about 20 employies and he runs ---- on the up and up.

I got the feeling you made some jack there, but sometimes shops break a few rules to afford talented people who'd go elsewhere if they aren't paid right.
