im taking engines 101, preformance engine building, and race chassis fabrication this year at comunity college as electives and its no where neer 22k and theres a dyno and everything you can use for your car.

---- UTI I'm not about to pay $20-30K for the same certificate I can get at my local Community college for $11 a unit.

and I think anywhere you go you can get tools at dealer cost. I know at WYO TECH, you are givin a snap-on starter set upon graduation, worth like 4grand, so bacially a few screw drivers, wrenches, and a tool box. but then you can spend up to $10,000 more dollars at dealer cost to buy more tools. and wyo tech also has dyno days and track days.

if you choose a school from the discounts and track and dyno days, you are a ------ idiot. ::)

see the thing I looked at was I didnt wanna be specialized in one area. i didnt wanna just train for ford, or GM, or Chrysler, because then your limited. I think that is something alot of people should look at.

Yeah man obviously anyone who goes to school for tools and track days is a ------- idiot i was just mentioning a few bonuses that came with going to UTI thats all. I also looked into the community college route but it just didn't seem as good :P

whats a good JC in SOcal that offers courses dedicated to honda tuning or anything high performance related?

someone told me cerritos had a good auto mechanics program....that and rio Hondo...
