Which is the best reason to go to school there, right? :P

Not everything on the east is specialty schools.. there's quite a few that are in collision, engine rebuilding, etc..

I just signed up for wyo tech tonite....

They do have a campus in Blairsville, PA. But if you wanted to go into the high performance field, you would have to take there auto mechicanics (sp?) then take an add on class of high performance. the person who talked to me said the auto mech. class is a complete over view of everything automotive, from brakes, to HVAC, to electrical. everything. nothing specialized though, they give you a basic overview of everything. then you could take an add-on class of the high performance. they have a 98% placement rating right now, which bacially means, if you graduate and cant find a job, you dont want a job.

I also looked at UTI in Ohio, they have a 100% high performance school, but the placement rating is only like 60-something percent. Not a big demand for only performance minded mech.

something to think about...

Actually theres not a campus in Ohio the nearest one would be Illinois. I'm just hoping that UTI won't suck I mean ---- school everyday and ----! oh well atleast i'll be done in less than 2 years. And yeah free dyno time, track day, use of equipment on weekends and major companies are always there hiring new people and $1500 dollars worth of snap-on tools at a discount baby!
