The perkies almost - but not quite - made up for how badly your car sucks.

Quit telling us what you've been told on Honda-Tech, and get rid of the MSD ----. It is useless. Your spark plug selection is assinine. If you are running anything other than stock Honduh plug wires then you fucked up. And, that's just a simple ignition setup. :3

Martin, you seem like a nice guy, but your French blood runs strong. The fact you have a solid grasp of english, and can at least identify a decent set of tits, shows you have potential. Help us help you and you'll be one of the handful of French-Canadians welcome in America. :)

Re: Hi there HMT, introduction

Alot of the mods like short ram are just what are in there now but will be chopped down to fit witht he turbo anyways like you said... I'll think alot of the garage guru's will judge the choices i made about fuel management and such, many people think e-manage is a waste of money and i hear alot of guys hating on msd as well

can i ask what EXPERIENCES you guys have had with msd to make you all hate so much?

To me the msd ignition is defiantly more powerful than the stock coil and in the higher rpms it makes sure that i am not dealing with weak sparks and misfires in the top end of the powerband. this consistence in spark and the multi spark setup in the low end that makes sure you get the most of your spent fuel this setup was the best bang for the buck and beyond that stuff i find the car starts much better with it.

the emanage on the other hand was got for less than $300 cdn dollars with the E-01 controller and all the harnesses which was the price of a single tuning of the P-28 with chrome on the street but it offers me the chance to do it as often as i want and log everything for live on board tuning.some people think it's overkill or that it's a hack, but for me it was a classy way to do the injector upgrades and tune the air fuel ratios...

other than that i don't know what else you think are garbage about the setup

oh for the person that asked about the S2000 filters, if you look at them they are diffrent internaly and the s2000 filter is higher flow and lower resistance to be able to flow with out clogging or significant back pressure after 9000rpm, they share the diameter and thread pitch and are typicaly only a few dollars more. some say they catch a little less but i've seen a small change in oil pressure due to this and with the new setup that will include an oil cooler and a turbo to feed i think oil flow will be a big issue that i will have to keep tabs on. hence the oil temp gauge and as soon as i have a chance to find a matching oil pressure gauge and water temp gauge to match the 3 i have i will be throwing that in the glove box with the rest.

You didn't have a "*" next to the intake so I assumed you were planning on buying one. :l

MSD coils have left me stranded TWICE. ---- me once, shame on you, ---- me twice, I'm an idiot and throwing the pile of ---- in the trash. What advantages do you think you're going to get by running this super badass MSD ignition on your sub-200whp Honda? Do you think the super crazy horsepower your motor is going to be making with 7psi is going to require some sort of extravagent ignition system or it just won't work to its full potential? :1 Obviously you haven't read near enough on these forums if you're contemplating spending money on e-manage. I suggest www.turbod16.com for your website of choice. :3

I've tuned more turbo cars than you will ever bum rides in over the course of your life. At this point, I expect xenocron has as well.

Any other questions we can help you out with?

PS - eManage is a hack.
