how do i replace the axel boots on my crx axles, this ---- is wack and dirty

 

take off your hub, pull the boot off the axle, and put a new one on.

 

lol...what he said, but you need to hit the outer part...what's it called?? Hit it with a hammer it should come off...the clip is just holding it there...and then replace the boot and Jam that thing back on the axle

 

The hell with the boot. Hit up Auotzone and pick up a lifetime replacement complete axle. $60 bucks and your done. I'm now on my 3rd set Even if the boot tears you get a whole new axle. Not worth the hassle to replace the boot imo.

 

+1 To relpace some boots, you have to take one off to get to the other. Just not worth it IMO... Get warranty axles.

 

what if i snap a axel? do they replace that for free?
