okay back to the original thread... ur idle = jumping because either 1 of 2 things... on ur throttle body it has 2 weird like pump *****... take off ur air intake right? so u can see ur "open throtle body" then start ur car... look inside ur throtle body there should be like 2 holes... 1 goes on the bottom to the pump for the coolant line then one on the back side to that other pump ----... put ur finger over 1 then the other... it should create a sucktion affect and if it calms down then that ones ur problem. my engine did that for 8 months and i couldn't figure it out. woulnd't do it on startup but when it warms up it would annoying-ly idle UP down UP down... try those 2 holes then replace the coorspondent part. maybe there's only 1 on the back side... i can't remember cuz my friends b16 did the same thing then we replaced his throttle body to an LS throttle body and his quit doing it... change the gasket on the throttle body and check the one on the intake mani to the block... might wanna change that to.

check your fast idle valve. its connected to your throttle body. two small coolant lines go into it. open it up and theres a big *** screw. it probably just came loose. open it up and tighten it back up. im pretty sure thats your problem mang
