Default trouble with dsm can some one help

just got a motor built eagle rods ross pistons, arp head studs pretty much everything got it back in the car. it idles ruff, when you take off it bogs and stutters but when the turbo starts spooling it clears up while u are in boost it does this in every gear. it is throwing a check engine light that says it is the air flow sensor but we checked it with a meter and it says it is getting power anyone know what this could be thanks

My 91 Talon was doing this crap, ended up being the IAC on the TB. Pretty common failure item for the DSM and whats more it doesnt pop a CEL.

I think your supposed to run a little flap with a spring over the lower honeycomb part so its closed on idle and the MAP reads it better or something... and only opens on boost... so it dont bogg out and ----...

Fucken read about this like 3 years ago... so i could be mistaken....

go to DSM.ORG.... they have a few tricks and ----.... you can do to it...

Are you saying that your venting to the atmosphere w/your bov? You can't do that . Hook up a return pipe and I guarentee your engine will idle right. I know this 'cause I own a 1G.
