i am startin to realize how stupid this book is. if any of you have one and you look on 1-47, they have a chart sayin year, model, engine etc. Damn, this thing is soooo wrong.

for example:

1999 Civic HX- b16A2

2000 Civic HX- b16A2

99 and 00 SI - d16y8

1999 EX - d16y7

just thought i'd share that with everyone. and to think i was lookin into this book for HELP

bring ur car back to the dealership and ask them for your engine. and if they give u lip smack them with the book and sacrifice them to the car gods

i was thinkin the same thing. like if you had an HX and it got stripped by some idiots who didnt know it was an HX engine, go to the insurance like my B16A2 was just stolen, and they'd replace it. haha.

but if you had the SI, they'll give you a measly d16y8

at least your manual said my 240sx came with a v6 where is my v6 so i can twin turbo my car without a rb
