Re: Greetings from CivicOCD
Yeah we got married in December, it was pretty cool, my cousin went and got ordained as a minister at newlifechurch.com or something like that, we checked with the local courthouse and laws, apparently that ---- is legit in 49 of 50 states.
On about 4 hours notice we invited a few people over, her girlfriends decorated the house, exchanged some vows we pulled out off the top of our heads, said "I DO" and had our honeymoon in the bedroom down the hallway. as "neck" as it sounds we pulled it off with some class!
Anyways, i'm off to the driveway to rebuild rear disk calipers on the civic.....which brings me to a question
can one of you engineering types please explain to me a good ------- reason why some calipers are designed with the slotted piston that has to be turned to be removed or compressed? I got one that was completely seized up and I can't get over why the hell they are not just the same as the fronts.....
is there a good reason? anyone?

Its part of the self-adjusting function of the parking brake. Its a cheap design, not a good one

Re: Greetings from CivicOCD
Not today, ---- changes alot after you get married, especially with fast food being the #1 concern with their $1 menues for obesity since it's cheaper to eat and has more fat contents then eating healthier/+$....."recession menues"...........It's like the 1st add I seen on the superbowl and makes perfect sence. We started to go that route because it's cheaper and more filling, yet here I am now 15pounds heavier than I was last year.

I eat whole foods, the gf eats organic. If you can't afford to feed yourself then get rid of the CRV you were told not to buy anyway (has the AC compressor gutted itself yet?) and feed your ------- family.
