I don't think I could fit that many empty beer bottles on my computer desk. You've got me beat. :( __________________ Best Car Insurance | Auto Protection Today | FREE Trade-In Quote |

My buddy just got megasquirt for his eclipse, except I think he had somebody else solder it up for him cause he has no skills, lol. From what little I have read that is suppossed to be a pretty good system. Make sure you take pics and do a good write up Whitey (sure you were planning on it) and I think you should forget the case and house it in a Whitey bend box ;D Good luck mang.

lol, I was looking at this nicely machined case and thinking "where's the ghettoness in this?" And yeah you can buy them complete, I wanted to build it myself becuase with this new project I'm doing I wanted everything to be custom so I can say to people "Yeah I built the fuel injection system from scratch, starting with a pile of resistors for the ECU." Here's where you can buy it complete: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...spagename=WDVW I ordered my stuff through Glen's Garage and it was worth it. This guy labels each resistor and really packages everything nicely so its not really that overwhelming to see a pile of resistors. I paid $187 for everything but I also bought a "stimulator" ;) What this does is acts like a running motor so each part of the circuit board you solder, you than test it out and if it works you move onto the next part. This way you don't built the whole ECU than find out it doesn't work :-\ So if I build another one (hopefully I will) it will only cost $140. |
