go with the jdm route and toss some washers to lift up the rear of your hood. It actually works but yeah maybe toss in some water watter and buy a roll of some header wrap. Wrap the downpipe, dumptube, and manifold and it should help out quite abit. Plus you'll get a super funky smell after you start driving it with it on for awhile. Hmmmm header wrap odor...
