ya know that ---- can ---- up your fuel system unless its made to handle it right. i read a article about it being used in stock fuel systems that arent made to use that fuel and having to redo their who fuel system.

oil companies make 5-7 cents profit a gallon

the government makes an average of 50 cents profit (from tax) on a gallon of gas.

oil companies do all the work, take all the risk, the government does nothing and makes 10x the amount of money.

end of story, the governments the crook, then they restrict the oil/gas companies so much they cannot build a new refinery since 1970s and the price of gas goes up and up

No, you wont use twice as much. But it's suggest that your fuel system can supply up to 30% more fuel. Usally you loose 15% on the MPG with e85.

There are a lot of people out there using e85 or mixing with out problems with the ethanol, keep in mind there has been 10% ethanol in our fuel for many years now anyways.

Here e85 is about 60 cents cheaper then 87 octane. I get 25mpg with straight 89 octane (A/C on 100%- it was hot), I get 26mpg with a 40/60% mix of e85/89 octane (with A/C on 20% of the time).
