my car is an 88 dx hatch, with a SOHC Vtec ZC swap, mpfi swap, I/H/E, I'm turning vtec on with a shift light, I'm still running the dx tranny with a fucked up clutch, if I try to drop the clutch at anything higher than 4k rpms the clutch won't grab at all, I just rev up but don't move and have shity tires 2 14" steelies and 2 13" steelies. anyhow it ran a 16.2@89mph, but it said that i have 84hp. Keep in mind I cannot drop the clutch hard to pull out, and also I'm heavy, around 300lbs, so I think it's pretty accurate.

A lot of people say that, and just how i said it is a SOHC Vtec ZC. It was used in the jdm 4 dr civic(ferio), and another funky looking sedan. The block is stamped zc, I have some picture at home that I could post of the block and the head, It look just like a D16z6 but tha valve cover just say Vtec not like the z6 that says honda vtec, and the letters are smaller, but it is jdm engine

ok check this out the fourth down on the list, 130 ps, hp maybe?, then on the table, it came on the crx del sol, civic ferio, and honda domani, weird but cool ----, people alway look at me like what the ---- are you smoking a single cam vtec zc.

yes I am, I'll go ahead and take pics of the head, valve cover and vtec solenoid, I'm telling you I get the same reaction everywhere I go.
