Over 500 people a year die from choking on food. So join a safe eating committee.

Choking on food, dying fighting in a war to preserve our way of life. Who's death is more meaningless?

it is meaningless if you are fighting and dying for no ----., it is not a war, it means nothing to those who died.
We did got attacked once, and there`s not even enough reason to prove they are the one who did it. nor there`s enough reason to prove that THEY are threat to our nation.

According to what i heard from bush on TV the other day, he even made it sound like we are ~~pround~~ to be the ~~HERO~~ to help them to re-gain their freedom. who ------- cares about OTHERS freedom.
i just don`t understand why ppl are stupid enough to blow up one places then rebuild it FOR THEM, while spending OUR $$.

chocking VS war. you are the man Steve.

Donald, everybody knows that we can't bomb somewhere and not help the "poor regular people" rebuild it. If we didn't you'd be crying about the mess we left those people to live in. That's just political correctness for you. I wish we could bomb a joint and not rebuild ----, but it's not going to happen.
And the people that have died already was far from meaningless. Forget about 9/11. It's not about WHO attacked us, it's about going around and taking out people that would like to/ could if they wanted.
Next time you lay in bed and can't sleep, it won't be because your afraid of Saddam bombing your house. I guess that's not worth it. :P

I guess I am the man. Lives are lives. Over 500 are lost a year from people choking on food, but you never even thought about them. Instead you wanna bitch about the people dying to secure your freedom. Is it about loss of life, or is it about how you dont' think we should be at war?
The people that died choking didn't do anything to help you sleep at night.

There a difference between an accidental death and sending troops to die. I was never worried about Saddam bombing my house so its not like invading Iraq made our country any safer.

Yes, there is a difference in accedental death and dying in a war. One you were fighting for a cause, and one you were fighting a cheeseburger. Which one is more meaningless?

Whitey, I bet you never thought Stealthmode would shoot up your house at 935 this Sunday night either. :P

Then short after the Riechstag(think that was the name), Germany's parliment building was abolished.

Yeah I kinda did exaggerate, It was about 38%. They didn't have enough votes needed to change the constitution. Germany was a undergoing major changes during this time which was enabled him to become as powerful as he did.

And as for the Riechstag being abolished do you mean burned? The Riechstag was burned (most likely by Hitler's Waffen SS) it was deemed as a national tragedy. Hitler used this event and exploited it to pass a law to suspend the rights of citizens (not anything similar to the patriot act ). The quickly blamed it on the communists and eliminated his political opposition with it. Isn't it kinda erie how history repeats itself? Hitler used a tragedy like burning of the Riechstag to exploit his agenda just like how Bush uses 9/11 as an exuse for him to execute his agenda?
Yes, Germany was at a low point after being defeated in World War II. The economy was in the dumps, their currency was almost worthless. As for the Reichstag you're right it did burn. I thought that was it, but wasn't too sure. And the comparision between Bush and Hitler is pretty ridiculous. It's like saying Kerry was due to become the next Lenin or Stalin. Just absurd.

haha, I've told people that if there was a young president ( < 30 years old ) there probably wouldn't be an Iraq, or even a middle East.
