As temps go up more water vapor gets in the atmosphere raising earth's albedo until solar radiation is blocked = ice age.

Quote your sources, i'm not convinced its such a straightforward balancing act. The truth is, no one really knows whats going to happen, its chaos theory in action. Predictions and climate change models are only as accurate as the hypothesese they are based on.
So why deliberately do something which makes the situation worse? its like curing obesity with the McDonalds diet. Its not rocket science to work out the period of change we have undergone is affecting the planet. Whether we have any control over whats about to happen, well, without trying, there is no way of knowing. |

there are also "theories" that say the earth is actually cooler cause the pollution keeps the sun rays out

And there are theories that god created the world in 7 days, or the theories that say cigarettes are completely harmless without any link with cancer.
The question is not disproving the theories, but what evidence would be required to make you believe it? These changes are on such monumental scales, its not like you notice a night and day change. This will creep up on us. Actually, despite any of our best efforts, China's C02 output is just about to eclipse even the US's energy consumption. I'm going to buy a chunk of the arctic circle and wait until it thaws, then start drilling for oil. |

the ave global temp has raised .6 celsius in the last century. watch out everybody, we'z going to be burneded alives hey everybody who is worried about the earth. you know that stars have life cycles too? they may be longer but eventually our sun is going to die as well. what do you think that is going to do to us? nothing is permanent. theres something about life you should all know...no one gets out alive...so get over it |

a nice summary is found here as well politicians are being listened to, even though most of them have no knowledge or understanding of science, especially the science of climate and climate change. Hence, they are in no position to question a policy on climate change when it threatens the entire planet. Moreover, using fear and creating hysteria makes it very difficult to make calm rational decisions about issues needing attention. |
