A differant type of fishing to you
A few pics of the place itself:
The TYPE ARGHHHHHHHH
A skimmer Bream:
A Rudd
A nice Crucian
A Common
A F1 carp
A Small Mirror Carp
With its immaculate mouth 8-) sign of a good angler not damaging its lips at all
Nother small Common Carp
A freaky shaped mutant mirror, its head is massive
Teh bait, maggots and feed pellets, With a cup of coffee out the flask, it was cold!
Baby immaculate crucian carp
A goldfish
Tight lines
Matt

Re: fishing stories
how the hell can you tell the difference between any?
I've been fishing like maybe 4 times, never caught a fish but it was fun. All times I've gone out to Columbia River. just on the shore.
I wish i had more money and a boat so I could do some real fishing.

Re: fishing stories
I usually only fish for Rockfish in the Chesapeake Bay. Not the most rewarding place to go but is fun none the less.
I also participated in the White Marlin Open a few years back. Didn't get to fish but i was on the boat. The owner of the boat caught a Blue Marlin about 6' long took him about an hour and a half to pull it in.

Re: fishing stories
I'm the type of person who cant ------- stand fishing, id be sitting there picking apart how inefficient it is using a hook and a string, then think of machines to kill the most fish as possible or throw explosives in the pond/lake. bah.

Re: fishing stories
saltwater fishing is the ----. my boss owns a 55 foot charter boat that he takes us out on every once and awhile here in virginia beach. Tuna fishing is the best because a 25 pound yellowfin will put up more fight than any 40 pound rockfish. i love the thrashers. dolphin is a really fun fish to catch, pretty sweet lookin fish too. Heres a hint for dolphin if you guys ever go offshore, look for ---- floating in the water because they like to hang out by it for somereason. when you find one of these hangouts anchor your boat close buy and cut up some wahoo and start throwing it in. the first one you catch you keep in on the line in the water close to the boat because these fish hang together, once you got one they just start biting everything. i had one jump like 4 feet out of the water it was cool as ----. anyways here is a pic of an ok rockfish i caught last year.

Re: fishing stories
April is carp fishing time in the Genessee River here. Sucky part is that the gorge access is in the middle of the ghetto, and theres bum shanties on the riverbanks. Its worth it though, theres nothing like hooking 40lb carp on medium action tackle.
