Oh well Corvette is the best car in the world everybody and there is no such thing as a faster car in a straight line or on a road course.

Not even open wheel cars or top fuel dragsters keep up. :S

Let's not forget that plush interior and supple ride quality.

I've been in plenty of Corvettes, yeah they're fast but I've been in powerwheels that rode smoother and had a nicer interior.

Hell I think my nephew's playskool toys have better ride and interior quality.

why do people get so but hurt that a company like GM can make a reliable, gas efficient, cheap, fast, and good handling car?

Looking for that little euro or jap car niche that has better cars in similar price ranges and classes? Forget it. Stick to the econoboxes.

American V8 carrying automobiles will always have the widest margin of domination across all forms of racing because no other type of car can overcome the hurdles of having to deal with...high costs, fwd, unreliabillity, availability of parts.

Get over it kids, the corvette is a good deal and it owns. Of course you can build a faster car for cheaper, but that's not what the arguments about, is it?
