Apexi twin chamber...adjustable spring pressure, plus uses boost pressure to hold the plate closed while under boost, and then sucks open when you hit vacuum for a massive whoosh sound. Also won't hang open under vacuum like the dsm's or greddy types. Downside to it is it's massive dookie size, funky bolt pattern, and high price usually :P

The knockoff type s doesn't sound identical to the type s, but its not far off. It is ridiculously loud, even at a weak sauce 8psi. But tial ftw.

This is a plot off the engine dyno where it was mapped, it made a bit more than that after fixing problems run into on the dyno. Just look at that torque curve.


wtf do you do with 7.5:1 compression?

for the record ive run a dsm, greddy-s, xs rfl, blitz dd, and they all sounded exactly like a blow off valve.

run 20psi boost below 3000rpm on pump gas.
