mph = (rpm * cir) / (gear * final * 88)
circumfrence if your running 205/40-16 's, 5.83 feet, going 7000rpm's in third gear 1.172 (for dx tranny from mr bones webpage) with a final drive of 4.058 (7000 * 5.83) / (1.172 * 4.058 * 88) = mph 40833 / 419 = 97mph *edit for tiresize on car domain* |

I don't think anybody really has an idea of how fast they were actually going. I doubt any factory speedo is very accurate past ~100. :-\
