well i just recently got the speed limiter pull of my car, did 225 km/h

just wanted to know some of ur guys top speed

uh well in a friends eg turbo coupe, we almost went 0, but im pretty sure that was the speedo wrapping around. :6

Any of you guys ever watch the ghostrider vids? he had his speedo tached out at 299kph for several long streches at a time. while weaving through traffic. The guy is insane.

What year/model was your crx. My buddies 90' DX topped 125 on a nice straight highway.. 5th gear 7,200 rpms.. 90k miles.. perfect shape

i finally did my speed run the other night. I didn't do it before when i was boosted cause my stock gauge cluster was gay. Now i have an Si cluster which goes to 140 and my speed limiter is removed, so i got it up to 130. It still had more but i figure why risk it when i know it has it :1

Did 135 or so in the teg with the stock b18a1, now that Im boosted I rap out 4th gear to ~120 regularly but never hit 5th.

if it counts I got flashed by a camera tailgating on the autobahn doing 265 kph in my b16 eg coupe, now I have a ls/vtec I am scared to go over 220kph. but I am done with this top speed ----, its all about how quick I get there now

130 ish in the maxima.
100 ish in the 8 valve civic :P
150+ when i HAD my turbo civic
130+ in my work van (04 mazda MPV :D ,gotta love the FORD engine :l)
800mph+ when I am in the 747 (well i paid for the ticket so i consider it is mine :8 )going back to the CDM land. 8)

mph = (rpm * cir) / (gear * final * 88)

circumfrence if your running 205/40-16 's, 5.83 feet, going 7000rpm's in third gear 1.172 (for dx tranny from mr bones webpage) with a final drive of 4.058

(7000 * 5.83) / (1.172 * 4.058 * 88) = mph
40833 / 419 = 97mph

I don't think anybody really has an idea of how fast they were actually going. I doubt any factory speedo is very accurate past ~100. :-\
