agnostic doesn't mean you're teetering between monotheistic religions. I'm just saying I'm not arrogant enough to deny the existance of a higher god or spirituality without proof, and not arrogant enough to faithfuly follow a religion with no proof of its truth. It's a cop out. I'll find truth to the best of my own personal ability through questioning reality, my perceptions and motivations, and the perceptions and motivations of others.

I didn't say anything about agnostic being about the monotheistic, I was just bringing in the monotheism in reference to your comment about Jesus.

Keep the Church out of politics, and keep politics out of the Church.
If two guys or two woman want to be able to have the same privileges as a man and a woman, so be it. If they want to adopt, so be it. The church I was raised in how has a gay pastor (woman). Her and her partner raised two children, both of whom I went to school with. They're both as straight as an arrow, so don't get all up in arms thinking they're going to brainwash their children. For the record, the lady and I pay for her birth control, not the government. |
