Re: Falwell's dead, Hallelujah!
"AIDS is not just God's punishment for homosexuals; it is God's punishment for the society that tolerates homosexuals”
“The idea that religion and politics don't mix was invented by the Devil to keep Christians from running their own country” "If you're not a born-again Christian, you're a failure as a human being” “The ACLU is to Christians what the American Nazi party is to Jews” “Homosexuality is Satan's diabolical attack upon the family that will not only have a corrupting influence upon our next generation, but it will also bring down the wrath of God upon America.” “(re: 9/11 attacks) "...throwing God out of the public square, out of the schools, the abortionists have got to bear some burden for this because God will not be mocked and when we destroy 40 million little innocent babies, we make God mad...I really believe that the pagans and the abortionists and the feminists and the gays and the lesbians who are actively trying to make that an alternative lifestyle, the ACLU, People for the American Way, all of them who try to secularize America...I point the thing in their face and say you helped this happen."” He was very much so against the civil rights movement as it was going on. He referred to it as the civil wrongs movement. However, I did not mean to imply that being against civil rights is a value of conservatives |
Re: Falwell's dead, Hallelujah!
Seems a bit extreme and uncompassionate, but I agree with his base ideas.
Oh a lighter note, my teacher still never raised my grade to the appropriate A- from the B+ because she feels I offended students and was out of line when I said "...homosexuals deserve to die of AIDS...". I was religously persecuted for my faith because I apparently gay bash. JP |
Re: Falwell's dead, Hallelujah!
LOL, I would've been kicked out of school for saying that. My next school, they'd applaud me :1

Love it. Im sure we will see some right wing nazi ---- bring up some bizarre topics regarding his death.
I have a feeling people are going to start saying that he is speaking to them from the dead. :1 :1 |
Re: Falwell's dead, Hallelujah!
better than the faggots on the left, who actually are in government forcing their morals on you (or lack thereof)
laughing at his death seems like just as bad as the stupid ---- he said |
Re: Falwell's dead, Hallelujah!
Not at all Johnny. Good try though.

Re: Falwell's dead, Hallelujah!
liberals only believe in free speech when its something they agree with.
liberals are the most disgustin, intolerant, and hate filled people in the US |
Re: Falwell's dead, Hallelujah!
Yeah, they are right up there with the conservatives.
When I am lord and emperor of the world good quality coffee will be free on every street corner, and political extremists with be executed for the good of all. |

Re: Falwell's dead, Hallelujah!
I live in the Bible Belt, Johnny, all the religious right conservative archetypes come from here. I deal with these people every day. I believe the phrase Rev Duke Isen used to use, "so heavenly bound they're no earthly good," would be the most apropo way of describing them.
IMO, the truth is somewhere between where you and rawr typically stand on issues. Anyway. I'm glad Falwell's gone. No laughter, sarcasm, or dragging him around in the mud involved in that. Just a simple statement of fact. |
Re: Falwell's dead, Hallelujah!
dont believe in free speech?
did falwell ever force you to not be a faggot? did he force you to not get a abortion? well disgusting liberal force people everyday to PAY for other people's abortions, they force people to PAY for homos to get sex changes. liberals force, people like falwell preach, you're free to listen or not, you are not free to not pay taxes, which fund every sickening liberal half baked policy |
Re: Falwell's dead, Hallelujah!
Liberals and conservatives are both stupid. People that argue one is better than the other :l People need to quit trying to be in a group and just have their own beliefs.
I agree that all political extremists need to be executed. |

I agree that all political extremists need to be executed. they're in these groups because of their believes, people don't just choose a affiliation then take on all their believes as their own because they like the way the word liberal sounds |

People are more prone to go along with their "friends" or whatever instead of coming up with their own conclusions. You cannot deny this. |

Heck, I didn't like either of them, I wasn't old enough at the time to vote for them though. I would've probably not voted at all, or for one of the independents. |

If there was a female with big tits running for president, you know who would get my vote ;)
I agree with both of you^^ Bush is an idiot. Kerry is an idiot. Extremists are idiots. I'm true with it, you're new with it, I just swang my thang and them I'm threw with it. |

You mean our tax dollars pay for abortions and sex change operations, Johnny?

Re: Falwell's dead, Hallelujah!
lol, jerry falwell wanted to turn our government into a theocracy and made a good attempt by creating the moral majority, which i believe is now the called the christian coalition.
i'm not a conservative or a liberal, more like a constitutionalist, but it seems to me that the conservatives are more for strong religious beliefs and general intolerance of anything that differs or interferes with these beliefs. heres two videos i thought were interesting from a conservative talk show called the o'reilly factor, i don't know i guess the left seems to be better rooted in reality. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q3ZiT1N5_lg http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5fsJrRt0gcU |

Falwell may not be able to effect policy in your opinion but his organization sure is trying, heres a qoute from his website of the moral majority.: "As national chairman of TMMC, I am committed to lending my influence to help send out at least 40 million evangelical voters in 2008. The thought of a Hillary Clinton or John Edwards presidency is simply unacceptable (and quite frightening)." "We will be organizing in all 50 states and enlisting and training millions of Americans to become partners in this exciting task of bringing this nation back to the moral values of faith and family on which it was founded. My National Liberty Journal newspaper will serve as a springboard for this great effort." 40 million votes could definately have an impact on policy, especially since they are all going to vote the same way, but i never called any leader a moron or stated that they were wrong, i was merely pointing out why some people are relieved by his death. |
Re: Falwell's dead, Hallelujah!
ok... so if people agree with him and they vote that way.... you have a problem with this? do you know what a representive republic is??
im sure you have the exacty same problem with every liberal group including aclu, teachers unions, everyother union, moveon.org, etc... |
Re: Falwell's dead, Hallelujah!

Re: Falwell's dead, Hallelujah!
I think if queers(this includes LESBIANS) wanna be queers, they can...BUT there marriage SHOULD NOT be legally recognized by our country AND they shouldn't be able to adopt children and influence the youth of our country with their sick way of living(the bible says that men and women belong together, and I agree)...I believe a woman who has been raped or has become pregnant at an older age(which makes it a health risk), BY MISTAKE, should be allowed to have an abortion, but I don't think a young ass girl who doesn't take responsibility everytime she ------s her legs should be allowed to murder one baby after another...I believe physically healthy, ABLE U.S. citizens SHOULD WORK and not be handed a FREE RIDE, i.e. food stamps, tanf checks, subsidized housing, etc. etc....The pledge of allegiance says ONE NATION, UNDER GOD, I believe the Holy Bible is the word OF GOD...I know we can't ALWAYS do exactly as it says, but I think if we at least TRIED to learn what it says and tried to do things in this country REMOTELY like it says they should be done, this country would be a better place...Life might not be quite as entertaining as it is now for some of us, but in the long run, I think things would be ALOT MORE PEACEFUL, and we might all sleep a little better at night....Sooo, what would that make me??
