Again, this was not to bust the guys ***** :P I've stated a couple times it was obvious he took care in packaging it, and I'm not too worried about the insurance since I don't insure unless someone asks either.

It's been settled, I'd buy from him again in the future.

I second the plastic bags on items with "orifices" that are packaged in peanuts.

Well packaged, the couriers just suck nuts in this case.

I did tell him to package it well, because I know how shippers are, and he made a great attempt at it. 80% of the box's volume was bubblewrap, a cam just somehow worked its way out of the bubblewrap and I guess got beat/crushed.

Crank is fine, cams are being replaced, all is well in Jorsherville.

FYI - UPS and FedEx automatically have $100 of insurance built into the price of shipping on any item. anything over $100 and it costs more.

only if you claim the value as $100, and if you can provide a receipt that the item cost $100 originally

UPS forklifted a couple monitors I shipped to someone. Was an insured package. When the guy got it, there was a huge hole in the side of the box, no peanuts, and fortunately only the stand was destroyed on the monitors.

I didn't get jack ----.

Personally, i would have resolved it over the phone, through email or pm.

I would not have MADE A ------- THREAD CALLING THE DUDE OUT OVER A CHIPPED CAM UNLESS HE WAS A COMPLETE AND UTTER DICK ABOUT THINGS.

Do you ever read or understand any of the threads you flip the ---- out in?

Wait... just nevermind.
