CH3NO2 FTW :)

N2H4 + H2O2 interests me more, or maybe a metal slurry. :)

what is this hydrazine you speak of; and isn't pure hydrogen peroxide incredibly corrosive?

And to the rest of the people in this thread; you realize Ethanol is the less corrosive easier to make equivilant to Methanol that people run in race cars and cut nitro in dragsters with right? Ethahol production as it sits now is pretty inefficient but its getting better; its just a matter of time before it gets streamlined.
And those of you bitching about having to burn 2x more, get your ---- straight. under cruise conditions you only need about 15-20% more E85 than gasoline. If you build an engine FOR e85 then you wont lose anything; 12:1 compression + boost + E85 = race gas that costs less than regular and you'll get as good of millage that you did on pump gas while emitting less pollutants

Rocket monopropellant. It doesn't need oxygen to party hardy, but if you add some it really takes off and goes wheee!!! Rule of thumb is 20mL/gallon of gas is enough for a 10% bump in power.

Mix it with hydrazine, and it will melt the flesh off your bones, and your bones too.

Hate to break it to you, we don't use fossil fuels here in America, either.

OK, I'll take the bait...How do you figure?

P.S. I've got a lot of respect for your opinions (long time reader, noob poster). I'd be VERY curious (and grateful) for your help with this https://www.homemadeturbo.com/forum/...?topic=62837.0 ...when you've got the time...
I look forward to being schooled ;)

Petrolium is abiotic in origin. Well, the petrolium in the Earth's crust is. No animal or vegetable decomposition in nature created it.

Theirs an Abiogenic and a biogenic theroy for coal and petrolium. They're both theroys.
