Dyno'd Crvtec Today

Today I finally had time to dyno my car, yesterday it sat at the track like a little bitch in the corner that stored coolers & food. ::)

sad sad....

As expected, I hit my goal, a tad over 300whp. 306whp / 228tq running 12psi on pump gas.

It took 18 passes on the dyno to get this fucker tuned, Nick lopez helped me out working with my fuel map, it took almost 15% more fuel than the LS/vtec map I had made. I'm a bit worried my dsm injectors are about out of juice ;)

Overall, I'm really happy, the car ------- rips incredibly hard. Traction... well there is none. The lag of the .63 housing is nice, but I still need a bigger compressor IMO. The spark map is very friendly, so not worried about detonation, also installed my walbro 255 back in.

I dont think I'm gonna drag this car again, maybe.. My goals are almost done 12sec/300whp daily driver, and a 10sec/400hp race car.

Jeff

18 runs? Good lord. :o At least it is all tuned in now. You need to make at least one pass to see if it can actually run a 12 :P.

I don't see the difference between the ls and crv tech numbers.
What rpm does that .63 kick in at?
Overall, I like. :)

You dont see the difference?

lets take a closer look... ;D

306whp / 228tq (12psi) B20 .63ar

https://www.homemadeturbo.com/ride/89si2/dyno.jpg
263whp / 201tq (12psi) B18 .48ar

The turbo definatly takes a tad longer to spool, but I think I could use a new compressor.

What about the hp vs. costs difference of an ls block and the crv? I thought the crv blocks were expensive these days. Just wondering

Nice, that's awsome for a daily driver. I really need to get a CRX.
