whats the setup? |
Re: dyno run results with uberdata thanks alot kevin
damn insane amount of power. what are the specs on the motor?
|
Re: dyno run results with uberdata thanks alot kevin
damn you say fake hahaha far from iti dude.
i drew in the red line so you can see the a/f ratio and wrote in the numbers just incase they werent visible this civic is a 96 hatch b18c1 with wiseco pistons eagle rods block guard 2 255lph fuel pumps ramhorn manifold from sfp 3" dp 2.5" ic piping apexi fmic 550cc injectors tial bov tial wg 50mm running 22psi roll cage stripped interior this car will race in jersey this weekend with only 407whp it ran an amazing 11.4 in the quarter mile! ill take some pics of it before it goes today but this car is truely awesome.. oh last but not least have to thank kevin projekteg and uberdata |
Re: dyno run results with uberdata thanks alot kevin
Since when do HP/TQ cross at 6200? all dyno maps will show that HP/TQ will cross at 5250RPM no mater what.
::) |
Re: dyno run results with uberdata thanks alot kevin
you better do some research cause this is what we got on the dyno jeff for sure.
|
Re: dyno run results with uberdata thanks alot kevin
Ok, I'll do some research, lol... I'm not questioning your setup at all. I'm questioning your bogus dyno sheet. go look at every dyno graph you can find and look at what RPM torque and horsepower meet at, it should be 5252 (rounded) 5250, its a very simple formula that has been used for ever. Horsepower equals torque (in ft-pounds) times RPM divided by 5250.
Are these SAE corrected #'s? where was this dyno'd at? You just cant honestly expect to post a dyno sheet that flat out looks bogus and expect people to believe it. Jeff |
Re: dyno run results with uberdata thanks alot kevin
bogus sheets like id take the time to make a bogus sheet something isnt right then cause this was done here in massachusetts and i got the sheet right from the guys printer i would never modify a dyno sheet at alll i can assure you this car will be in nj this weekend and it will run a very nice number then when it gets back here im inviting you to come out and see this monster run on the dyno and ill let you print the sheet out for yourself. bogus im not trying to impress anyone im just letting you guys know that uberdata works good thats all. i feel your taking offense on some good numbers
|
Re: dyno run results with uberdata thanks alot kevin
hey jeff im just looking at another dyno sheet i have on file you are right i have two of them here that are exactly 5250 on the same dyno but i came across one here that is over 6,000 ill post it sdo you can see
why does this happen then?? http://home.ripway.com/2004-11/200321/dyno-sheet.gif |
Re: dyno run results with uberdata thanks alot kevin
22 psi on a block guard? any sleeves?
|
Re: dyno run results with uberdata thanks alot kevin
The dyno could just be a little innacurate, it could happen.
|
Re: dyno run results with uberdata thanks alot kevin
im going to have to let my buddy know cause you are right it can be off! it is a dynojet
|
Re: dyno run results with uberdata thanks alot kevin
i cant see the dyno sheet, but your set-up sounds bad ass. post pics of the car...
|
Re: dyno run results with uberdata thanks alot kevin
Ahhh. I see now, the map scalers are different thats why it did that =)
On just about every dyno sheet you see the Y axis should have the same values. Not sure why it was printed out like that? but reguardless good dyno #'s Maybe the guy wanted the HP/TQ #'s to overlap on the top end so he could see how TQ and HP look together? |
Re: dyno run results with uberdata thanks alot kevin
i wasn't saying that it was fake man, i just said it looks fake, must be a shitty scanner you're using.
good numbers though dude |
Re: dyno run results with uberdata thanks alot kevin

Re: dyno run results with uberdata thanks alot kevin
since ur thankin kevin. is this thing tuned or on kev's famous basemaps?
|
Re: dyno run results with uberdata thanks alot kevin
Looks like WOT is tuned to 12.5 AFR
|
Re: dyno run results with uberdata thanks alot kevin
i didnt think 550s could support 500+whp
|
Re: dyno run results with uberdata thanks alot kevin
actually kevins basemap and a little fine tuning (2 runs on the dyno)
he actually had the a/f ratio at about 13.3 straight through hes no joke nothing but respect for this man |
Re: dyno run results with uberdata thanks alot kevin
i didnt think 550s could support 500+whp |
Re: dyno run results with uberdata thanks alot kevin
Hot stuff!
I wanna see the graph though :-* What snail ya' using? |
Re: dyno run results with uberdata thanks alot kevin
I can't see ---- so I'm throwing horseshit all over this thread. Show me an untainted dyno graph and I'll judge. Not to discredit Kevin, but I don't think he has ever dealt with a 500+hp Honda(nor have I), so I don't know how accurate his internet tuning can be. :-\ I suggest actually tuning your ---- and getting it on an "accurate" dyno. ;)

Re: dyno run results with uberdata thanks alot kevin
didnt you make an install thread a couple of days ago, how did all of these parts make it onto your car and get it dyno tuned in such a short period of time ??? and there's no pics or anything :-\
|
Re: dyno run results with uberdata thanks alot kevin
how did you lauch?
|
Re: dyno run results with uberdata thanks alot kevin
Mustangs are known for reading slightly lower than your average DynoJet.
Again, thumbs up on the build. Could you put the dyno sheet back up with a full list of what done to the engine? |
Re: dyno run results with uberdata thanks alot kevin
91 dx its two diffrent cars dude this is the 96 hatch and the del sol isnt done yet
leed i will post it all back up again tomorrow now he has traction problems he ran a 11.5 car got on the track and started to bogggg but we will have to fix it did anyone see it in jersey? |
Re: dyno run results with uberdata thanks alot kevin
i love the hp gain on that red X :-*

you very wel may have pulled those numbers on the dyno-- but that dyno is sooooooooooooooooooooo out of spec its not even funny. 550s will get you a little more than 300 at the whells. my 750s were at 78% duty at 289 WHP at 11.8-12.1, stock rail 45-ish psi. |
