just how durable ARE the rotaries? i heard that there's a lot less friction between the internals, so they last longer. i dunno, you'd be the expert to ask

i personally have never had a rotary, have a friend whos chassis rusted out before the engine quit...something like 300k on it, 100% OEM, never rebuilt, and my good friend here was a tad under 400hp...it lasted 5 years.

people in the states are scared of being different...with no pistons. if someone offered me the right $$ for my Honda, id buy a rotary tommorow. Accually...I had a deposit on one, guy who wanted my honda backed out.

Eh, 651 hp/485 tq is fine for me, it does low 11s in the 1/4, 0-60 in 3 seconds and has handeling. But, there is the Ferrari FXX, loosley based on the enzo but 850hp and not street legal. The car is kept at a track and maintained by ferrari. Thats big pimpin'

2006 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX MR. Load some more boost and do some special fuel delivery setup. I think that would keep me pretty busy for a while. Can't go wrong for the price.

I can't say Miatas were on my radar before riding in Ari's, which has at most a whopping 160 whp, but I can say that when I exit the Honduh scene a Miata is most likely the direction I will go. Currently it is the only direction I have come up with, and there are a lot of other cars out there and I'm still looking around with eyes peeled at everything that rolls, but I'm pretty sure that'll be it.

Ari's really ------- bright and shows all the signs of being a fab master to knock JG, Weir, FF-Geon, and within a decade even Engloid's dick in the dirt... but I have to face facts that Ari is 19 years old, his car is still half assembled, on bald tires crap compound with no tread left, and his alignment was done with string and measuring tape and isn't perfect. The fact of the matter is that his car handled better than any Honduh I've been in. It was not only stable but entirely comfortable in corners, at speeds, under power, etc, that would have me zeroing out a fuel map, closing my laptop, uninstalling my gear, and waiting on the side of the road for a cab back to my car, leaving a Honduh owner stranded on the side of the road for having driven like a jackass and putting my life at risk.

Highroller, I really don't know what faults you could be thinking of regarding Miatas, except for their being IRS? Sure, a couple people have already made gay jokes at my expense for having mentioned liking Miatas, but when I point out that they own slow ****** ---- with a bunch of HT-approved parts that gets adolescent boy approval when they pop their hood in a parking lot, which is the only thing they do and therefore must be the reason they were purchased, without fail every last one of those people has gotten very quiet and a couple even walked away visibly upset.

Boo hoo, like I care what a sausage thinks.

2001 Honda NSX with a nice big turbo on it.

Yellow with cf hood/black roof and a set of nice bronze multi spokes that cost twice as much as my current car.
