There's currently a little tiff between the 10.4@141.7 mph CRX I tuned and a local guy with a 10.38@137 mph 2JZ powered Corolla whose feelings are hurt that a Honda runs his time. Both cars weigh the same, the Corolla is RWD, tubbed running monster slicks, and has 169 whp more the last time he wrecked at Bristol. The Corolla currently has 780 whp and hasn't been back to wreck at Bristol, but it has taken out the tree at the local 1/8th mile track which is pretty indicative of it's inability to do anything correctly as power levels increase. It was a cool swap before it was tubbed, and is a cool car now that would pick up some stability with more sorting, but it doesn't weigh enough to HAVE any weight to transfer to the slicks.
RWDs need weight or serious suspension engineering to hook up, and your Civic has neither.

Lol the corolla owner has more $$$ in his engine than is in the entirety of the CRX...
Didnt know he took out a tree...that must have been embarassing.
Sounds like you have the same opinion of the corolla owner and his buddy that I do.
