He means its a pain in the ass to have to mix it with gas BEFORE it enters your car, aka, put gas in a gascan on the ground, then have to pour it into your car

If you could simply throw some down the funnel before or after filling Id probably try it

But I dont even know where to buy acetone

According to that. it boosts your octane?

I just though of something. Instead of mixing it in a gas can all the time. could you not make an adapter that the pump nozzle fits in to and on top have a glass syringe with the right amount of acetone for your tank? then as you are pumping gas you could slowly inject the acetone at the same time.

in the case of a solvent like this, yes it does.


Keep acetone away from painted surfaces, such as the paint on your car under the gas tank opening. Acetone is the key ingredient in paint remover. In addition to paint, fuels, including acetone, gasoline alone can also dissolve asphalt and most plastics.

Never allow skin contact with it. It may damage clothing as well. Don't breathe it. Keep children away from all dangerous chemicals. Read the directions on the container.
