You must love old boy (or his momma) if you're doing free engine swaps for him.

it's his sister I'm after ;)

minor rear main leak, no other leaks. oil was at the low dot.

Ran perfect before the belt, 120k on it, timing belt is dead on.

No good deed goes unpunished

Bad luck is what it is, I work on cars everyday and sometimes something like that will happen, working on a area of the car and something else gets fucked up.

Whats the right thing to do? Explain to the dad the situation.. hopefully he will understand. Your not liable for what happened. But being your probably a nice guy your probably going to put a motor in for free. So I'd ask his dad to buy a case of beer and maybe some nudies of his daughter. haha ;)

I say for the dad to hand over the daughter for labor done. It's a nice barter I think. I have to say that my old y7 held 14psi using a rhb5 pretty good for 3 months running just on a bluebox. Hell even after it spun a bearing i still drove it but just not over 3k cause it wouldnt knock under that. Ran until the day I pulled it out. Though I'm checking out a 97 4dr LX if I sell my Z. Need a family ride cause my corolla got me a nice 340 dollar ticket. :7 State patrol officers don't like exhausts that just consist of a glasspack and set of harley softtail pipes with baffles removed that is side exited. :6 Damn exhaust ticket was more then the 15 over speeding ticket. :3
