Re: Decisions, Go B or stay with the D
I didn't say you absolutley have to sleeve an h22. I just said you have to to run high boost. anything over ten kills stock honda ringlands. And I did say running 7 psi would get him some decent hp.
But really it sounds like this guy wants to go B series but just isn't ready to make the descision. Paul I by the way your posts sound even if you did boost a D you would still wonder about what it would be like with a B series. Just go ahead and do a B that way you can say youve done both. I have an f22 myself so B or D doesn't much matter to me. But thinking about it seems like a B would be the easier way to go with more power in the end anyway. |

Re: Decisions, Go B or stay with the D
I say go D....that way if something breaks (which always seems to be the case), it's much easier to go to a junkyard and find a replacement.
Sure the possibilities of a B series are so much more...but your wallet would take a beating as well...so unless you want 300 whp+ i say go D |
Re: Decisions, Go B or stay with the D
I figured that I can do more to the D with the amount of $ I wanted to spend. If I went B I would have went over my budget, not accomplishing as much as I have with the D block.
My advice is: if the B is not a wise choice for you financially go D, UNLESS you stumble on a deal you cant pass up. (patience is key here) |

I say get a B series engine, they are beefier, stronger, make more power and can handle more power. |
