Near my GF's house the town does not seem to like indicating things to well i hit a speedbump with my honda that has a 1.5" drop btw and it was unpainted usually there bright yellow with special paint that reflects when youre headlights shine on it but nooooo i hit the dam thing going 60kms and ripped a massive hole in my oild pan.Now i patched it with Fiberglass till i get a new one cause adding a quart of oil a day was getting a liitle tireing.Has this ever happen to anyone else ?

with the way the weather is that fiberglass isnt gonna last long at all, i hope it lasts as long as you need it to, but definitely not the best way to take care of it. I like the sound of the jb weld or just use duct tape :P

i've hit my share of speed bumps but, i would never fibre glass an oil pan. just change it it'll take like an hour or two and it'll cost you like 50 bucks total.
but i totally agree w\ the speed bump situation, some of them arn't even painted around here either and at night they are hard to see.
