Dam speedbumps
 
Near my GF's house the town does not seem to like indicating things to well i hit a speedbump with my honda that has a 1.5" drop btw and it was unpainted usually there bright yellow with special paint that reflects when youre headlights shine on it but nooooo i hit the dam thing going 60kms and ripped a massive hole in my oild pan.Now i patched it with Fiberglass till i get a new one cause adding a quart of oil a day was getting a liitle tireing.Has this ever happen to anyone else ?

try plugging it with a sock. :l

oh. and pray u didnt ---- anything else up. getting a dented oil pan off is a pain in the ass.

i did that to my van that i once owned......i took the pan off and got 2 packages of JB weld....and never leaked oil again....but the second tranny i put into died....then i got into hondas....life has been good

its easy to change the oil pan on a honda, put a new one on it. fiberglassing that ---- is a dumbass idea.

It's obviously a sign from god that your a dumbass that shouldnt be slamming his car and then hitting speed bumps goin 60 kmh

I hate to say it, but i agree. When your car is low, you need to be super careful, period. I hope your kidding about the fiberglass...

with the way the weather is that fiberglass isnt gonna last long at all, i hope it lasts as long as you need it to, but definitely not the best way to take care of it. I like the sound of the jb weld or just use duct tape :P

i've hit my share of speed bumps but, i would never fibre glass an oil pan. just change it it'll take like an hour or two and it'll cost you like 50 bucks total.

but i totally agree w\ the speed bump situation, some of them arn't even painted around here either and at night they are hard to see.

you patched your oil pan with fiberglass. I cant wait to see this, post pics
